Rare all-wood 8′ sail-and-oar dinghy built around 1970 by noted English boatbuilder Norman Newell of Seaview, Isle of Wight. Beautiful traditional craftsmanship from a respected builder known for his Sea View One Design dinghies and classic wooden sailing craft. Originally commissioned for a Swiss customer who never claimed the boat; later brought to the U.S. and eventually donated to the Mathews Maritime Foundation in Virginia.
