I am trying to downsize my life, and getting rid of books is a large (and difficult) part. The following boating, and boat building books are, in some cases, out of print, and in all cases usable and in decent shape:
Complete Amateur Boat Building, Michael Virney, 1973 printing of 1948 book. With dust jacket, in good shape, with page of notes just inside.
Build a Boat for Pleasure or Profit, a collection of Popular Mechanics articles, 1941. No dust jacket, but very good condition, a lovely collection.
How to Fix Your Wooden Boat, a 45-page paperback from Smith & Co., Richmond, CA, 1984.
Clinker Boatbuilding, John Leather, 1987 paperback edition of 1973 book.
The Laminated Wood Boatbuilder, Hub Miller, 1993 paperback.
Sailboats You Can Build, Peter Stevenson, 1977 Paperback edition.
Go Build Your Own Boat!, Harold “Dynamite” Payson, with dust jacket, 1983.
Boatbuilding, Howard I. Chapelle, with dust jacket and plastic sleeve, 1941.
Wooden Boats to Build and Use, John Gardner, 1996 paperback.
Pete Culler on Wooden Boats, 2008 paperback version of a couple of books by Culler from the seventies.
Boat Building with Plywood, Glen L. Witt, no dust jacket, 1974 printing of 1962 book.
A Pacific Legacy, Wayne Bonnett, with dust jacket (a coffee table book), San Francisco Chronicle Books, 1992.
The Ashley Book of Knots, Clifford W. Ashley, with dust jacket, (a big book, over 600 pages), 1944, I cannot find the edition date in this; it is in perfect condition.
I would like to sell these as a group. The price includes shipping within the U.S.
Thanks for looking.
