Newly built 8′ pram dinghy was built by an experienced builder using the “stitch & glue” method. Plans were 1940’s vintage published by the Douglas Fir Plywood Association. Marine grade 1088 plywood was used and sheathed with fiberglass and epoxy. Has bronze oar locks and 6′ spruce oars with leathers sewn on. Oar horns are cast aluminum. Finished with Pettit polyurethane inside and out. Sole has non-skid texture. Quality removable launching wheels included. Rows easily and tracks great. Prefect for fishing, peaceful exploration or a good workout. Great first boat for a youth, with or without the outboard motor.
A vintage 1956 3 HP Evinrude in good running condition is available with the boat for $900.
