$4,200.00
This recently restored Whitehall was built for the owner’s grandmother in ~1938 by a shop in Lake Winnipesauke area. It has been wooded out and completely repainted and varnished. She is planked in clear white cedar lapstrake, with bent oak frames and mahogany rails and seats. All fasteners are brass. There are two rowing stations. (Whitehalls are usually rowed from the front seat, if solo.) These boats were developed for crossing the rivers around New York City in the nineteenth century. They are relatively light, fast and designed to track straight. This one weighs in at just over 200 pounds. I have reenforced the transom to allow use of an outboard, if desired. This is a great-performing, beautiful boat that will add a classic touch to your dock.
Sale includes two custom fitted covers; one for the bottom (upside down in winter), one for the topsides (right-side-up in summer)
Test rows are possible, if you can help with launch and retrieval. A pair of oars are available, but not included.
