“Ruthless” is a 1985 Swift Explorer made in the UK…designed for the English Channel and very seaworthy… unsinkable with its built-in flotation. Her twin rig with plenty of reef points offers plenty of options for both performance and safety in a variety of conditions.
She has a steel, single-axle trailer.
Unlike in the photos, her current engine is a little-used 2.5 hp air-cooled Honda in the well ahead of the rudder.
While she has a substantial teak gunwhale rail, she is primarily a solidly built fiberglass boat, requiring minimal maintenance.
She is easy to launch, and the masts can be easily stepped by two people.
The topsides are hand painted and could use a recoat for cosmetic purposes.
