DESCRIPTION:You should be an expert kayaker and/or sailor before you consider this challenge! \nThe BlackBeard Challenge is a roughly 300 miles long unsupported expedition-style adventure race for kayaks\, canoes\, and small sailboats. \nThe race crosses Pamilco Sound\, a coastal area with narrow barrier islands and shallow sounds\, that was once the stomping grounds of the mysterious pirate Blackbeard. \nWaterTribe invites competitors to revel in the mystique and legend of Blackbeard while pushing themselves to the very limit in this test of courage and endurance. \nDeadline to Register: Friday\, May 14  \n
