DESCRIPTION:The 11th Semaine du Golfe on the Gulf of Morbihan\, a natural harbor in the south of Brittany\, France\, is officially been canceled. The 2021 race week would have marked the 20th anniversary of the event. \nEvent organizers say the board of directors is following local covid-19 guidelines and add: \n“We could not invite hundreds of sailors to gather convivially in the harbors without\nbeing sure the restaurants and bars could be open. We could not welcome our friends\nof the foreign delegations while imposing on them quarantine upon their arrival. We\ncould not either share the show of the nautical parades with thousands of visitors on\nthe shores of the Morbihan Gulf.” \n  \nThe 11th edition will now have to wait until 2023.
