Launched in 1992, “Feather” is a very nice example of Bruce Kirby’s Norwalk Island Sharpie. She is the 26′ design with the tall cat ketch rig. The hull is occume plywood with 10 oz glass set in System Three epoxy, and is in excellent condition The two masts are fiberglass, built by Lars Bergstrom. The booms are aluminum, built by The Rigging Locker. The sails, by Doyle, although original, are in excellent condition. The sail covers are new. The is also a complete, two piece awning that shades the cockpit. The outboard, also original, runs very well. There are 2 group 24 batteries that feed a Weems breaker panel. Also, in the cabin is a porta-pottie and a Force Ten two burner stove with broiler. The bunk cushions are in excellent condition. All running rigging is in very good shape. There are three anchors with rodes. A fresh coat of bottom paint will get her on her way. There is still time to enjoy this great boat this season. Reasonable offers will be considered. Thanks for checking this out.
