$5,000.00

Old growth Douglas Fir spars: 2 masts at 25 and 26 feet in length – approximately 4″ square at base with a well formed taper and rounding to elliptical,  3 booms; 5 Dacron sails; 5/16″ and 3/8″ stainless steel wire standing rigging with swaged ends and Merriman bronze turnbuckles. Hardware, some of which would be considered antique, includes all deck, hull and interior hardware in bronze, brass and stainless steel including six custom bronze belaying pins. Plans for the ca. 1940’s “Coot” design are included to build your own wood or composite hull.

All parts in usable condition with a mixture of antique parts as well as some more recent. Jib and mizzen sail are newer, main, staysail and flying jib are older and may not be usable. If the buyer is considering using the supplied plans to build a hull to the Coot design, I also have the rudder, centerboard and a few other pieces in good condition.

The parts are in two locations in Southern Ontario. Spars are in Port Hope; hardware and everything else is in Caledon.
