This 1970? canoe was found in the rafters of a barn in northern Maine about three years ago. Judging from the decks, it may be a Thompson? I replaced a small amount of planking, and sanded and faired the glass covering, added 3 coats of Epifanes deep green paint. It has new ash outwales and keel. Most screws are new silicon bronze. The gunnels, thwarts, decks, ribs and planks have been sanded and varnished. It is solid, very wide and deep, and capable of carrying heavy loads. The included trailer has new bearings and lights.
