After Old Town Canoe bought Carlton Canoe, they manufactured a few canoes under the Carlton name. This one has OT serial no. 18399 and has been fully restored over three years. It has a small amount of new planking and solid original ribs. It has new outwales, new seats, and new ash thwarts and keel. All wood has been sanded and coated with at least two coats of Captains Varnish. The outside of the hull has been stripped and faired, re-canvassed and filled, and has five coats of Epifanes deep green enamel. She has new copper half oval end bands and all new bronze screws and Old Town seat bolts.
She looks just gorgeous anywhere, especially on the water.
